MLA Wall To Raise Local Issues During Spring Sitting
Swift
Current MLA Brad Wall today said he will hold the coalition
government accountable to the people of the Swift Current
constituency when the Spring Sitting of the Legislature resumes on
Tuesday March 20th/01.
Wall said health
care will be a top priority for him when the legislature resumes.
"Thousands of signatures have been collected on petitions
calling for a new hospital for Swift Current, and I will be
presenting these petitions in the Legislature.'9 Wall
said. "It is my hope that the soon-to-be-released report from
the Fyke Commission On Medicare will indicate that Swift Current
must be a regional health centre."
"There is new
face on the provincial government with the exodus of Roy Romanow
and Dwain Lingenfelter and now the recent resignation of Janice
MacKinnon from cabinet." Wall said. "However, Lome
Calvert's coalition still isn't addressing the issues facing the
people of Swift Current and Saskatchewan." he added.
